Historic Tudor-style hotel on the Dunoon waterfront
Historic Building
The Royal Marine Hotel occupies the former Clyde Yacht Club, a building dating back over 100 years. The hotel retains its original stained glass windows, sweeping bannisters, and a creaky front door that speak to its past. Local artists' work and model ships decorate the halls, while the exterior Tudor design makes it a landmark in Kirn.
Rooms & Suites
Each room is individually designed; Room 11 has a stone feature wall, and the Arran room offers a four-poster bed, tartan carpet, and a corner sofa overlooking the ferry. Many rooms have sea views, flat-screen TVs, and en-suite bathrooms with roll-top baths or separate showers. Room 26 features a David Bowie mural, and the hotel provides games for families to play in the rooms.
